The Sunny Lane Drama Team recognizes that before we share God’s words of love, we must be willing to do deeds of love with the heart of a servant. We pray before each performance and ask the Holy Spirit to prepare the hearts of the audience to receive the message and to minister to them on an individual basis. We also pray for guidance and strength, and for God to give us fresh revelations on new drama ideas. We stand firm in the belief that our service is not for personal gain or glory but, only for the total glory of God!
The Sunny Lane Drama Team is available to do drama wherever and whenever needed. We abide by United Methodist Church doctrine and support our church’s goals and various ministries. We teach and proclaim Biblical truths through drama for Sunday morning worship, special church/youth gatherings, and other ministries. We work closely with the music ministry in creating interesting and meaningful worship experiences. And, we assist the Children’s Ministry, Youth Ministry and others in creating and bring the message of the Bible to life.
