Music Ministry

The Sunny Lane United Methodist Church music team is a collection of talented singers and musicians lead by Music Minister, Chris Moore. The music team performs musical specials and lead the church in song each Sunday. From Traditional Hymns to Praise and Worship, our musicians provide it all.

In addition to providing music during Sunday services, the music ministries present musicals and productions periodically through the year. They also take semi-annual retreats together as a time for practice, fellowship, and renewal. And, they have hosted musical guests like famed pianist, Dino Kartsonakis, jazz musician, Dave Boyer, composer/pianist/organist, Mary McDonald, and composer/arrangers Joseph Martin and Patti Drennan.

Praise and Worship Team

• Performs Sunday mornings during the 8:30am Praise and Worship service
• Rehearses Thursday evenings at 7:00pm

Sanctuary Choir

• Performs Sunday mornings during the 10:50am Traditional Worship service and provides special performances several times each year
• Rehearses Wednesday evenings at 7:00pm

Orchestra

• Performs with the Sanctuary Choir periodically throughout the year
• Rehearses Wednesday evenings at 5:30pm
